Bio

Art has always been a part of my life, particularly when I was younger, but in 2009 I damaged my cervical spine leading to years of chronic pain. About 5 years a go I damaged my spine further which lead me to join a local Art Group for those suffering with mental health issues. At the time I was supporting a dear friend of mine but soon realised how beneficial the group was for me too as I found I could relate to the same feelings of depression, anxiety, grief and guilt that chronic pain brings with it.

Fast forward to now, where art has become a major part of my life and I am now excitedly awaiting the conversion of an outbuilding in to my own art studio  Through a conscious change of lifestyle I have found ways to cope with my pain and now enjoy creating all different types of art work.
